The Students for Sustainability Club was founded during Fall of 2016 in order to get students more involved with and informed about green initiatives on campus. The Club focuses on issues including: waste reduction, recycling, food waste, and hands on environmental activities.

The purpose of the Sustainability Club is to strive for a better future at Penn State Berks, by using and implementing environmental advancements. We focus in areas such as: clean energy, waste, re-purposing, future generations, and recycling. Our overall goal is to share our green initiatives around campus and the Berks area. The overall vision is to increase the understanding of our environmental impacts here on campus, and to teach what students can do to positively affect their surroundings.
