Saving a PDF version of your PowerPoint presentation with Multiple Slides per page

Publish to handouts with 6 per page

  1. Open your Powerpoint Presentation.
  2. Click “File” and then “Save As”. Pick a location to save your presentation.
  3. In the “Save as type” box – use the drop-down menu and select PDF.
  4. Click the “Options…” button.
  5. Click the “Publish What” drop-down and select “Handouts”.
  6. In the “Slides per page:” drop-down select how many slides per page you want. We suggest 3 or 6 slides per page.
  7. Click “OK” and click “Save”.
  8. A PDF of your PowerPoint Presentation will appear.

Creating a PowerPoint Handout that only gives the text from each slide (Outline View)

  1. Open your PowerPoint Presentationselect to print several slides per page
  2. Click “File” and then click “Print”
  3. Select the “Full Page Slides” drop-down menu.
  4. Click “Outline”
  5. Click “Print”
  6. Your printed handout contains only the text from each slide.
