The Penn State Berks Sustainability Team hosted EarthFest 2019 on April 22 from 10 am – 1:30 pm on the walkway between the Gaige and Perkins Buildings on campus. More than 20 educational stations were led by faculty, staff, students, and community organizations. The large crowd of visitors collected stamps at each station to be entered in a drawing to win sustainability-related prizes. Eco-friendly freebees were available and over 70 visitors made sustainability pledges.
